This via ferrata guidebook describes 76 of the most important and interesting climbing routes in Slovenia and abroad, in the Western Julian Alps and on the Austrian side of the Karavanke.

The sixth, updated and expanded edition of the guide follows the spirit of the times and also presents the technically demanding sport ferattas, which, despite the controversy surrounding their creation, have experienced a real boom in recent years. In addition to the new routes in the Gorenjska and Renka regions, the new edition also covers the two Carinthian "Superferratas".

Most of the described tours are of medium difficulty, but due to the difficulty of the mountain environment they require an experienced and physically fit mountaineer.

The shorter, but not necessarily easy, ferattas in the central mountains and in Primorska may be just a pleasant afternoon excursion for the experienced, but for beginners they will serve as an excellent introduction to the more serious tours, of which there is no shortage in the book.
