CAMP - there mission is to invent, realize and distribute the most innovative and functional products for climbers, mountaineers, ski mountaineers, trail runners, hikers from all over the world.
The history of the famous Italian outdoor equipment company C.A.M.P. (Concezione Articoli Montagna Premana) began in 1889 in a small workshop in Premana, in the mountains of the province of Lecco, with the forging work of Nicola Codega.
The workshop then passed to his son Antonio, inventor of the famous ice axes for the Alpini Corps. Today C.A.M.P. is present in 80 countries worldwide with its three brands CAMP, CASSIN and CAMP SAFETY, with subsidiaries in France, USA and Russia. C.A.M.P. products stand for lightness and performance in line with the "light & fast" motto of modern mountaineering.
With more than 125 years of creation and dedication to its own work, always faithful to its roots and open to the global context, thanks to which the sporting know-how has been applied to industrial climbing, C.A.M.P. is already led by the Codega family in the fourth generation. This is also the reason why it remains a unique company, the living expression of an authentic mountain culture between tradition and innovation.
