Via ferrata d’Evolène Région

Extreme sports ferrata in the centre of the Alps - solo start on 13 September 2018.

From the car park, follow the signposted path across the meadow, then in the forest up to the entrance at the foot of the Mur du Grand Duc. Right at the beginning of the path there are some vertical overhangs. After that, a slightly ascending cross and exit from the wall via a short ladder to the so-called Gamsband (La Vire des Chamois). This is crossed until the end. Then over a smooth and exposed rock face to the entrance pillar at the foot of the Grand Mur. Today, however, due to lack of energy, abandon this key point and exit via Echappatoire du Bivouac, down to Evolène.
