Via ferrata Lärchenturm

The approximately 700 meter long via ferrata up the Lärchenturm was built in the fall of 2006. In the upper part, climbers can choose between two variants of varying difficulty. A total of 900 meters of steel rope and 250 rock anchors were installed. Since the rock quality of the Lärchenturm is not particularly good, the route was laid out diagonally in order to avoid the risk of falling rocks. A special feature is the very long descent in relation to the length of the ascent and the route, which is planned via the Breitwand and the ÖTK via ferrata.
